“Youth Collaboratory has a very high level of expertise in how the grant application process goes. We probably wouldn’t get these grants without their assistance.” - Proposal Review Client

Youth Collaboratory supports nonprofits throughout the grant proposal development process. Our team of highly experienced federal grant writers and grant reviewers collaborate with you to:

  • Identify funding opportunities
  • Enhance grant writing skills
  • Submit competitive grant proposals

Proposal Reviews

Guidance and individualized feedback to fully address the nuances of each funding announcement.

Once you’ve identified a funding opportunity, our team will send you a customized outline and writing tips tailored to that grant. You’ll then submit a full draft of your proposal, and we’ll review it to ensure it meets the funder’s requirements and offer suggestions for improvement.

Review Levels

We offer two levels of review, plus a 15-25% discount and priority scheduling for Organizational Members:

  • Single Proposal Review: 1 round of individualized feedback on your proposal - Cost $2,675
  • Double Proposal Review: 2 rounds of individualized feedback on the same proposal, with time in between to make updates - Cost: $4,675

Review slots fill up fast. These reviews are in high demand and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Act now to reserve your spot!

Request a Proposal Review

Year after year, between 81-89% of proposals reviewed by our team are awarded, compared to the grant writing industry average of 10-30%.

Grant Writing Coaching

Step-by-step coaching through the planning, writing, and submission of grant proposals.

Coaching is ideal for teams who are new to federal grant writing, are looking to refresh their skills, or are writing multiple proposals at the same time.

Before grant writing begins, you and your coach will discuss important elements of the funding opportunity and develop a work plan. The coach and other grant reviewers will evaluate your proposal section-by-section as they are drafted to ensure it fully addresses the funding requirements. Your coach will offer immediate suggestions for improvement to keep your proposal on schedule.

What You’ll Receive

  • A suggested outline for your grant proposal
  • Two 30-minute phone consultations with your coach
  • Individualized feedback on each section of the proposal as they are written
  • A 60% discount on a single proposal review, and the member discount on any additional reviews
  • Cost: $4,000, plus a 15-25% discount for Organizational Members

A limited number of coaching opportunities are available each year. Services are scheduled and contracted ahead of time on a first-come, first-served basis.
