The White House Policy Briefing on Ending Youth Homelessness

MANY was proud to join leaders from across the country at the White House last Friday, June 3rd, to strategize solutions to prevent and end youth homelessness at The White House Policy Briefing on Ending Youth Homelessness. Here are a few of our member organizations that attended the briefing with us last Friday: Los Angeles LGBT Center - Los Angeles, CA One-N-Ten - Phoenix, AZ YouthCare - Seattle, WA The Night Ministry - Chicago, IL The Bridge for Youth - Minneapolis, MN Lighthouse Youth Services - Cincinnati, OH Covenant House International* Sasha Bruce Youth Services - Washington, D.C. Oasis Youth Center - Nashville, TN Avenues for Homeless Youth - Minneapolis, MN Bill Wilson Center - Santa Clara, CA *Covenant House Missouri, California, and Florida are all MANY members.

The Launch of A Way Home America

A Way Home America (AWHA), a new national initiative to build the movement to prevent and end homelessness among young people, was also formally launched on Friday, June 3rd. MANY is thrilled to be a part of the AWHA leadership team, contributing the knowledge and expertise drawn from our innovative membership across 48 states.
