Apply for FY 2019 Integrated Services for Minor Victims of Human Trafficking
OVC (Office for Victims of Crime) is seeking applications for the FY 2019 Integrated Services for Minor Victims of Human Trafficking solicitation. This new program is designed to enhance the quality and quantity of direct services available to assist minor (under the age of 18) victims of human trafficking.

Organizations funded under this program will:

  • provide (directly and through partnerships) a comprehensive array of services that minor victims of sex trafficking and labor trafficking often require to address their needs for safety, security, and healing;
  • ensure that minors who have been trafficked are identified and referred for appropriate services; and
  • document the progress of the project.

OJJDP Invites Applications for Mentoring Opportunities for Youth Initiative
The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) supports a wide range of mentoring initiatives aimed at preventing and reducing juvenile delinquency. This multi-category solicitation supports youth mentoring services (1:1, group or peer) provided by National and Multi-State mentoring organizations as well as mentoring for specific populations. Specific category titles include: National Mentoring Programs; Multi-State Mentoring Programs; Mentoring Programs for Youth Involved in the Juvenile Justice System; Mentoring Strategies for Youth Impacted by Opioids; and Statewide and Regional Mentoring Initiative for Youth Impacted by Opioids.

Youth Homelessness: YHDP NOFA is Now Available
The Notice of Funding Availability for the Round 3 Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) is now available. YHDP is an initiative designed to address systemic responses to youth homelessness and significantly reduce the number of youth experiencing homelessness in up to 25 participating communities (8 of which will be rural).

New York Life Foundation Invites Proposals for Grief Reach Grants
The New York Life Foundation in partnership with the National Alliance for Grieving Children is excited to announce the opening of the RFP cycle for Grief Reach, a grant program that will expand capacity and increase access of bereavement services for grieving youth with local organizations. There are new changes for Grief Reach in 2019. Grants can be used to build the capacity to provides this support or expand current capacity to do so. The funds for these grants are provided by the New York Life Foundation and the oversight and RFP process is managed by the National Alliance for Grieving Children.

Residential (Shelter) Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children – Standing Announcement
This FOA was modified on March 25, 2019. The Office of Refugee Resettlement/Division of Unaccompanied Children’s Operations (ORR/DUCO) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), provides temporary shelter care and other child welfare-related services to unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in ORR custody. Residential care services begin once ORR accepts a UAC for placement and ends when the UAC is released from ORR custody, turns 18 years of age, or the UAC’s immigration case results in a final disposition of removal from the United States. Residential care and other child welfare-related services are provided by state-licensed residential care programs in the least restrictive setting appropriate for the UAC’s age and needs.

Walmart Foundation Accepting Applications for Community Grant Program
The Walmart Foundation is accepting applications through its Community Grant Program. Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded to local nonprofit organizations located within the service area of individual Walmart stores in the areas of hunger relief and healthy eating, health and human services, quality of life, education, community, and economic development, diversity and inclusion, public safety, and environmental sustainability.
