National Alliance To End Homelessness Unveils Rapid-Rehousing Toolkit

In recent years, communities have focused on rapid re-housing as a way to help people, including youth, quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing. Typically services are structured to meet each client's needs. The core components of a rapid re-housing are housing identification, financial assistance for rent and moving in, and case management and services. But young people experiencing homelessness may not fully understand the rights and responsibilities of living on their own. As part of an ongoing series of resources on rapid re-housing, the National Alliance to End Homelessness has unveiled a set of tools you can use to help youth develop an effective plan for getting housing and keeping it.
