MANY Executive Director Megan Blondin Named To Committee To End Youth Homelessness

MANY is proud to announce that our Executive Director, Megan Blondin, was recently named to the steering committee for A Way Home America, a national initiative to build the movement to prevent and end homelessness among young people. MANY is honored that Megan was selected for this committee to end youth homelessness. A Way Home America consists of homeless youth providers, advocates, researchers, government agencies, philanthropists and young people uniting behind a common goal: #endyouthhomelessness. Megan is excited to bring her extensive background and expertise in youth homelessness-related issues to the committee to end youth homelessness and looks forward to working with such a talented team of experts as they work towards a shared goal of ending youth homelessness by 2020.

July Update on A Way Home America

From A Way Home America's website:

  • "We are launching 100-Day Challenges in three communities. These 100-Day Challenges aim to uncover innovative solutions to youth homelessness with a powerful sense of urgency. The launch of these challenges are a partnership with the Rapid Results Institute, HHS, HUD, Melville Charitable Trust, Casey Family Programs and the Raikes Foundation.

Read more about 100-Day Challenges on our blog here.

  • We are working to speak in a collective voice about what is needed to end youth homelessness in 2020. Our Steering Committee, key stakeholders and young people are identifying actions and policy necessary to eliminate youth and young adult homelessness. We will communicate these recommendations to the next presidential administration."
